If you’re on your journey of using exercise to improve your depression and anxiety, you may notice that every once in a while you will have setbacks.

This is a part of the process.

What matters most is that you get back on track, no matter how many bad days you have.

My friend Chris recently experienced this.

For the past few weeks, he’s been consistent on his fitness journey.

He’s been noticing the immediate mental health benefits of exercise, which has built some momentum for him.

A couple of days ago, however, he had 3 or 4 bad days without exercise and proper nutrition.

He felt down about it, but he mentally told himself to get back on track.

And that’s what we sat down to talk about in our recent call.

In our recent zoom call with Chris, we sat down to discuss his setbacks and strategies we can use to get back on track when we don’t have the urge to exercise, or when we are extremely busy.
